Or this:

Photographed at a Qi Gong display, although this guy, who runs these events was doing a bit of Tai Chi at the time, I think.

I prefer the first. Much more powerful a picture than the second version.

Thanks Sue. Let’s see if anyone else has any thoughts.

The first, writes the chick who uses her 75-300mm lens whenever and where ever possible.

Absolutely undoubtably the first one … not that I have strong opinions or anything like that ;)
In my humble opinion, the background in the second image distracts from your very powerful capture of a man in action.

    Hi Di,

Thought you might have preferred the first;)

On another site some photogs said they liked the ‘counterpoint’ which the lady on the seat provided. Technical photog speak, I think.

Me? I like both - but I, like you, think that the lady is distracting.

    Counterpoint…?

I see no need for a counterpoint because then there’s the writing on the wall, the trees, the woman on the bench … I guess it’s just a different way of seeing the world but I love the first image.

Hmmm, I guess it’s a personal matter of ‘what the photograph is about for each viewer’. :)
    Loved it anyway.
