Whilst digging around on YouTube, I came across this short videomentary about the Abruzzo region of Italy. I think it is well done and shows off Abruzzo well.

The intention is to use this video to kick off a series of videos on Italy’s regions. Yes, you could find these on You Tube, but hopefully my efforts will save you some time.
The Land of My Fathers
This is the Italian version of a song that has already been done in Swedish and English, apparently. Very nice, well I like it. Great way to improve your ability to comprehend spoken Italian. It’s quite rocky, so if you are not into rock, you may not like it.
Blame Nathalie for this, in the nicest possible way of course, as she got me going through the Italian alternative music offerings on You Tube - just search for ‘musica, alternativa’ and click on a few of the 900 or so results. Happy listening!
