Announcement - RSS Feed Change

Due to some technical issues relating to Blog from Italy’s RSS feed system, I’m afraid I’m going to have to start supplying ‘chopped’ RSS feeds.  Apparently some of the multimedia content, such as YouTube videos and one or two other things I do within some posts, are causing RSS feed errors.

Therefore, from tomorrow, Blog from Italy’s main RSS feed will serve excerpts from recent posts.  To read the full post, should you wish to, just visit Blog from Italy directly via your web browser.  Remember too that Blog from Italy also has a mobile device optimized version, which means it can be read via mobile phones, pocket PCs and, as I understand, Apple’s latest cult item, the iPhone.

Once again, sorry about this, I know it will cause problems for some, but I want to keep this site as error free and search engine friendly as possible.

RSS Feed to Blog from Italy Updated

Thanks to reader Rajab Bader, those who follow my blog via the RSS feed may be pleased to note that the feed is now supplying complete versions of my posts.  Before, according to Rajab, my posts were being chopped.

I think I have now solved this little issue, and I hope the RSS feed is now behaving as expected.

As an aside, I notied that on Rajab’s Seo Gladiator blog, there is a downloadable Bloggers Guide to SEO in Arabic. Now, although my knowledge of Arabic is extremely limited, I’m sure those who speak the language would find a guide to SEO in their language potentially very useful. And quite a few Arabic speakers live in Italy, but I don’t know if any read this blog, but what the heck. If they do they’ll find this link.

Everyone else is doing it

So I’ve added the ability to subscribe to my scribblings via email if you like.  I guess its more a choice thing than anything else.  I’ve also popped ads in the emails, but if this annoys you, let me know and I’ll stop doing it.
