What You Can Do in the USA
I came across this little jewel of political satire whilst stumbling along using StumbleUpon.
Somehow, I don’t think a video like this would last too long in Italy’s sensitive political environment.
On the subject of political comment, there is an interesting story over on Beppe Grillo’s blog concerning what happens if the press tries to be a little too free in Italy. The story is called The blog and freedom of information
Moral of the story: Italian political bloggers and journalists should not host their blogs in Italy, or use the ‘.it’ domain.
StumbleUpon has an uncanny knack of helping me discover interesting corners of the world wide web. If you have not tried it, I’d recommend giving it a go.

Around 55 cars and numerous scooters have gone up in flames so far. If you are staying in the city at the moment, or plan to visit in the near future, you’d be well advised to find off-street overnight car parking.
Burnt Midnight Oil

After burning copious amounts of that old midnight oil, I came up with such a course.
The first time this course was held was quite a nerve racking experience and I remember feeling much like an actor appearing on his first night. I really had no idea as to how my course would go down. Even though I was fairly sure that I had covered almost everything, and come up with a method that was thorough but, at the same time, quite straight forward. I had even come up with a way, I hoped, of getting the most out of a large group of people with widely differing levels of knowledge of English.
At the end of the day though, I had never really done anything as extensive as this. So how did the course go? Read more
