It never rains but it pours.
4 viewsUnfortunately my mother in law is in hospital again. The poor lady’s health has never been great, and years of chain smoking have finally caught up with her. Collapsing lungs, thyroid, heart and breathing problems, excessive weight loss, and loss of appetite.
All in all, not good. My other half is distraught and has been down in Genova for the last week with our little one. She seems to be expecting the worse, even if this her mother has been in hospital a few times before now.
I’m off down to Genova this afternoon to attempt to bring our little one back to Milan, so at least my other half will have, possibly, one less thing to deal with/ worry about.
To cap it all, and on top of everything else, I’ve got three new courses kicking off this week, and do not have everything ready yet (not my fault).
It never rains but it pours.

Have your say

My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
I hope that your mother-in-law will be fine - just don’t worry and keep us informed
So sorry to read this Alex…indeed, as the Italians say, it rains on the wet
Hang in there, Alex! My other half and I are plugging for you and yours.
Many thanks to one and all for the messages of support. Very kind of you.
My mother in law is still not right, but seems to be a little better than when she went into hospital on Saturday.
Fingers crossed.
Alex
