New addition to the family.

As of last night our little household has a new addition in the form of an almost 3 month old Manchester Terrier puppy (Standard, not toy variety) .  His name is Atman - which we did not choose, but apparently means something deep and spiritual and is of Hindu origin.  The word Atman means ’self’ according to the www.  Our little one, who is delighted with his new chum, calls the pup Atma and gets very cross when I call the wee dog Batman!  Naughty me!

Certainly this little pup is a real sweetie and it will be fun to have a dog again, even though I’m not too happy about dogs living in cities - unless are wealthy dogs who have decent gardens, that is.

I’ll add one or two photos shortly.

    the pleasure is mine.

i used to live quite close to paolo sarpi and walked and rode almost everyday around. Its nice to hear about places and people you know and it refreshes pleasant memories by the way you describe them.
