My other half likes Windows Vista
0 viewsWell, Mr Gates may be pleased to know that his latest creation, Vista, has at least one fan here in Italy. My other half got a new PC at work, after the previous anonymous grey box kept crashing. Anyway, she likes the way Vista, remembers the functions you use most often and only presents you with, large, icons relating to the things you do the most. She has only had the system for a week and so far has not had problems with drivers and program incompatibility. I don’t know the specifications of her work PC, so I can’t understand whether the accpetable performace is down to the PC having a massive ammount of RAM.
I will just add that she was really impressed with the aesthetic aspects of Vista. ‘Very good’, she said, ‘Looks just like a MAC’. I shall say no more.
