I am enjoying your eye for photography :) … torn between envy and admiration, then there’s the delight that you’re out there and doing.

You, of all people, have no need to be envious Di. Your work is stunning. Yes, I do love doing this, but I have always loved finding beauty in form and that is why I find Italy so fascinating. Capturing images for me is like recording memories. Good memories, of the beauty that man is capable. Destruction is easy. Creation is difficult. I prefer creation to destruction and that is most probably why photography is something I have always wanted to do. Now I have the means, there is going to be very little that will hold me back. Says he, hopefully after having been treated to rather too much Blueberry and herbal grappa by our wonderful neighbour!!! :)
    All the very best,

    Alex

Ahhh and you have grappa … you cup runneth over.

Italy is stunning in terms of beauty in form. Roma almost killed me when I strolled in thinking that its reputation was probably a myth. I’m almost scared to visit more of Italy … the camera would run hot, wouldn’t it.

Oh and thank you for the ’stunning’. You made my morning :)

    Glad I made your morning:)

And, yes, Italy is certainly a place which can overheat cameras! A lot of the place is jaw droppingly beautiful, I know. Add the food, the wine and the grappa and Italy ensures that leaving is not at all easy!

Tough life, but someone’s gotta do it…

    All the best,

    Alex
