Blogged Likes Blog from Italy

January 18, 2008 This blog No Comments

A blog search and rating site which goes by the name of Blogged, appears to like Blog from Italy. Blogged’s editor gave Blog from Italy 9.2 out of 10. Not too bad at all.

My thanks go out to the reviewer, whoever she or he may have been.

Blogged is a blog directory and search site that attempts to ‘find better blogs’ – their words not mine. Always nice to get some positive feedback, but I have to say that negative feedback can be very interesting too as it helps you understand other peoples’ points of view. This, in theory, can help me to produce something that is more appealing to one and all, although I will not strive to please all of the people all of the time. I don’t think I can anyway.

Anyway, any reaction is better than no reaction.

Oh, and I have won a fun little award from a fellow blogger over at Space of Reality. Here it is:
Certified Honest Blogger

Francesco Cossiga Understood Italy

18 Aug 2010

For those who did not know, Francesco Cossiga, who died the other day, was an Italian politician and one time President of Italy. Cossiga hailed from Sardinia, was a fan of John Le Carre and had earned himself the nickname “the pickaxe” owing to his no holds barred criticism of other Italian politicians.

Berlusconi v Fini – Slinging Old Mud

12 Aug 2010

As you may be aware, the generally tumultus world of Italian politics is in turmoil. The Berlusconi government is teetering on the brink of collapse, but what is really surprising, is that this collapse was sparked from the inside.

Berlusconi Divorces Fini

30 Jul 2010

Kotipizza Berlusconi

From spat to full-blown split. Silvio Berlusconi’s marriage of political convenience to Gianfranco Fini has ended in tears. Scorned lover Berlusconi even rejected Fini’s last minute attempts to kiss and make up and remain part of Berlusconi’s party of love. End of love in. Period.
