Rich in content, and regularly updated, Blog from Italy began at the start of 2005.  The BlogfromItaly.com domain was acquired in October 2007.

Blog from Italy regularly appears in the first page of Google search results often in the top three listings, when searches for ‘blog italy’ or ‘italy blog’ are run.  Blog from Italy is also working on enhancing SEO aspects of the site to increase the site’s overall visibility.

Sponsor a Post

The primary objective of Blog from Italy is to create good quality content on topics which relate to Italy.  In order to help Blog from Italy expand, both existing and new posts may be sponsored.  The sponsorship will be indicated in a paragraph about the sponsor at the end of the posts concerned, along with a maximum of two links to the sponsors web site or other web site chosen by the sponsor.

If you are interested in sponsoring a post; preferably one which relates to a product of service your company sell; please contact Blog from Italy to discuss your requirements.  Posts may be sponsored for between 6 and 12 months.  In addition, those choosing to sponsor a post for 12 months will have the option to donate part if the sponsorship payment to a charity of their choice – this donation and the name of the charity will be mentioned in the paragraph about the sponsors which will appear at the end of such posts.

Sorry, No Adult Material

Although Blog from Italy’s readership is generally adult, it is not interested in advertising adult products.  Blog from Italy also reserves the right to discontinue advertising campaigns considered as being damaging to this site and/or to its visitors.  A partial refund is available in such circumstances.

Adsense

Please note that the Google Adsense ads that appear on Blog from Italy do not form part of any affiliate scheme. Indeed, the advertisers who use the Adsense system pay to place ads. So please, do not click on the Google Ads thinking you will be helping support this blog.  You will not be. All you will do is manage to have this site banned from the Google Adsense program, which means Blog from Italy will lose income and may not be able to continue.

ImageSpaceMedia

Blog from Italy is testing a new kind of advertising system which implants pop-up adverts on some photographs.  The advertising system is offered by a company called ImageSpaceMedia, and advert system is in a beta test phase at present.

Francesco Cossiga Understood Italy

For those who did not know, Francesco Cossiga, who died the other day, was an Italian politician and one time President of Italy. Cossiga hailed from Sardinia, was a fan of John Le Carre and had earned himself the nickname “the pickaxe” owing to his no holds barred criticism of other Italian politicians.
