Blog from Italy welcomes contacts from potential advertisers.

Rich in content, both recent and from the past, Blog from Italy has been running since the start of 2005, although it has been running advertising since October 2007, when the Blog from Italy domain was acquired.

Blog from Italy regularly appears in the fist page of Google search results often in the top three listings when searches for ‘blog italy’ or ‘italy blog’ are run. Blog from Italy is also working on enhancing SEO aspects of the site to increase the site’s overall visibility.

Advertising is displayed on Blog from Italy to help cover costs, enhance and extend the content and functionality of this and its sister site Italy is in. Offers from advertisers for advertising and sponsorship opportunities are welcomed. The Openx/Google Ad Manager ad servers systems can be used to set up and monitor campaigns.

Targeted adverts, banners, for example, may be placed in specific popular posts. This is an excellent way to generate visibility for your company and your products. The site particularly welcomes approaches from companies or organisations selling or promoting Italian goods and services.

Although Blog from Italy has a general adult audience, it is not interested in advertising adult products. Blog from Italy also reserves the right to discontinue advertising campaigns considered as being damaging to this site and/or to its visitors. A partial refund is available in such circumstances.

Ad Positioning

Several positions are available for adverts.

Home page: Blog from Italy

Adverts may be placed in the site header, above or below the video unit.

Three other spaces are available beneath the 3 posts displayed on the home page.

Individual posts.

An Ad unit may be placed within high interest articles on CPM basis alone, or on a CPM and CPC basis. Discounts are available to advertisers wishing to acquire more than 30,000 impressions, or who wish to run combined CPM/CPC campaigns.

Sponsored posts.

If you would like to sponsor a post, then a 468×60 non-flash banner, with tracking link, may be placed either around the centre of the post or at its base. Adsense ads will be turned off for the sponsorship period.

For sponsorship to be most effective, the product or service the sponsor is marketing should ideally be related to post content.

The wording ‘Kindly sponsored by’ will appear above or below the banner.

The cost of sponsoring a post in this way is $60 per quarter. Should you wish to know about future post subjects and thus include more targeted advertising, then the cost is $120 per quarter.

For sponsorship periods exceeding 9 months, a discount is available. Payments must be made via PayPal prior to the start of the campaign. Campaigns may be cancelled after the first month, however a 50% administration fee based on the campaign period remaining will be applied.

Contests are also possible, especially if the company organising the contest is not based in Italy. Contests run by Italian companies in Italy need to be fully authorised in accordance with Italian law. This is complex and can be expensive.

All you will do is manage to have this site banned from the Google Adsense program, which means Blog from Italy will lose income and may not be able to continue.
