Touch Rugby Italy

October 10, 2007 · Filed Under 4-4-2 Pub, Sport · Comment

Just to confirm that Shane Wilson, the Australian who is the Scottish National Touch Rugby team coach, is now over here. There will be a touch rugby training session tomorrow, the 11th October at 9.05pm in Via Govone, 35, Milan. Afterwards, I guess, everyone will be off down to the 4-4-2 pub! I shall be at the pub around 10ish.

Attention golfers! - Update

October 10, 2007 · Filed Under Milan - My Zone · Comment

I managed to pop across the road and have a word with one Doriano Limone, the owner of the soon-to-be-opened Mulligan golf accessory shop here in Milan at Via Procaccini, 20. He told me that he hopes to have everything up and running by the end of October 2007. He also said that the shop would stock around 80% of well known worldwide golf brands. The shop already has a basic website that one could use to keep an eye on progress. You can find it here.

Zelig, Milan - Comedy Show in English TONIGHT

October 10, 2007 · Filed Under Life in Italy, Milan · 3 Comments

Whilst flicking through the pages of the Metro free newspaper on the way to work this morning, I noticed that Zelig a well know Italian cabaret venue, located at Viale Monza, 140, Milan (click on the address to go to the Platial Map), has ‘Culture Shock’, a comedy set written by English comic John Peter Sloan this evening at 9:30. The show will poke fun at the cultural differences between Italians and the English and so should be worth a look. Apparently around 75% of the show will be in English.

Alas, I won’t be there, which is a shame. Perhaps someone who reads this and does go along can say how it was.
