The streets of Milan
I don’t know why. Maybe it’s got nothing to do with Prodi, but it could be the new Mayor of Milan, Moratti, anyway, the streets seem dirtier than usual. Litter lingers and there seems to be more doggy-do all over the place (hop scotch anybody?) than ever before. Makes the place look rather scruffy. Possibly a new policy aimed at saving money - ie ‘Only clean the places which are the most frequented.’ Who knows? Funny how you notice these things. My other half has noticed too, and I bet we are not alone.
(With apologies to a.c.t. - this is not a post which says nice things about Milan - but it is not the city’s fault, more like those who run it)

It’s quite easy to make things difficult, you know. Then it becomes difficult to make things easy. Just a thought I had.
