A mystery, or maybe not.

Just watched 'Top Gear' on BBC world. Funny, interesting and intelligent, as good TV should be in my biased opinion.

What gets me is that I'm in the land that fathered Ferraris, Bugattis, Maseratis, Lamborghinis, Ducatis and the Italian MG, the Alfa Romeo, and there is absolutely no half decent motoring progamme on the goggle box here.

It's unbelievable, but then just about everything on Italian TV is unbelievably crap, so it's not really unbelievable at all, I suppose.

The really, really annoying thing is that I am 100% certain that things could be 1000% better if the Italians really put their minds to it. Or maybe they have the right idea and do not want to encourage people to waste their lives stuck in front of a box of metal and plastic, which is why the TV is dreadful. I do hope I am right…..
